Bronze Dragon: This piece was first sculpted in wax and later cast in bronze at 'Meridian Sculpture' in Melbourne. The work measures approximately 0.17m high from the base of the dragon’s neck to the top of its head, and 0.22m tall in total including the wooden base. The base itself measures about 0.15m long × 0.14m wide.
The dragon form provided an opportunity to explore structure and detail, balancing technical skill with imaginative expression. Working in bronze reflects my interest in experimenting with diverse materials and processes to create visually impactful work. Fantasy, particularly dragons, has been a recurring subject in my practice, offering both freedom for creative interpretation and a vehicle for symbolic storytelling.
