Al Drago (mixed media): This was my second paper mache dragon head trophy inspired and learnt from Dan Reeder's 'Paper Mache Dragons' book. He is a paper mache sculpture artist who has his own website, blog and YouTube channel. This dragon head and neck collectively is roughly 0.5m long and is featured on the sixth image slide of the Wyndham Art Gallery 'Decade' microsite under the 'Open House' exhibition page and on pages 42 and 43 of the hardcover book. Created with a variety of mediums including cloth (old bedsheets), air dry clay, acrylic paint, epoxy clear resin, paper mache, and glass cabochons. Also, something to note about this piece is that the wooden shield plaque was sketched and designed by me, see image below.
