Description:

Hi, I’m Duain Kelaart — a designer with a Diploma of Graphic Design from Swinburne University of Technology. My studies gave me broad exposure to various design disciplines, but I’ve found myself particularly drawn to skeuomorphic UI design, creative typography, illustration, and animation.

I’ve also discovered an interest — and an eye — for designing aesthetically compelling books.

With a background in visual art, I bring a creative mindset to the design process. I enjoy exploring different perspectives and blending ideas across disciplines to create unique visual outcomes.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to explore digital sculpting and animation using tools like Autodesk Maya, Blender, and ZBrush.

I’m interested in how UI design can be made more engaging through animations, gamification, and skeuomorphic elements — all aimed at improving the emotional and interactive experience of a website.

To me, great UI design is about more than just visuals — it’s about consistency, storytelling, and understanding how users navigate and feel within a digital space.
