About Me

My name is Duain Kelaart and I have been studying an Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design at Swinburne University of Technology, Hawthorn Campus. After having a great exposure to the different applications of graphic design I have found an interest and gravitated towards UI/UX design, animation and illustration.

One key personal attribute I think I could bring to the design process with my visual art background is an ability to entertain different perspectives and cross-polinate them in other words, utilize a sense of creativity.

Though I consider myself first and foremost an artist; I'm still fascinated by the growing and multi-disciplinary field of UI/UX design and its potential. To elaborate adding animations, gamification and skeuomorphism in a User-Interface sounds exciting and innovative to me. I also like the way you can design an over-arching vision of an experience for a website/app and am curious to see more creative User-Interfaces in the future!
